What is LaGaligoTa?

LaGaligoTa is a web-based storytelling platform hub inspired by La Galigo, the epic mythology of the Buginese people. It invites users worldwide to co-create, reinterpret, and celebrate this living tradition through stories, voice recordings, illustrations, and video performances.

This is not just a digital platform—it’s a shared creative ritual where the past meets the future.

How does it work?

Visitors choose one of two main paths:

Be a Storyteller: Upload or create stories inspired by La Galigo in text, audio, or video form.

Be a Story Viewer: Discover, listen, and engage with community-created content.
